Acceptance

By using Scriptery you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Permitted use

Only transcribe content you have the right to process — your own videos, public content permitted by the source platform's terms, or content you have permission to use. You are responsible for complying with the terms of the platforms you link to.

Service and quota

The service is provided free of charge with a daily usage quota, which we may adjust at any time. We may change or discontinue features without notice.

Billing and refunds

Free daily transcriptions are provided at no cost and are not eligible for any refund. Purchased credits are sold as a consumable pay-as-you-go product: once a credit has been used to complete a transcription, that credit is non-refundable. Unused, un-expired credits may be refunded within 14 days of purchase — contact support@scriptery.app with your order reference. We reserve the right to decline refund requests that show signs of abuse (e.g. requesting a refund after using most of the purchased credits).

Term and termination

Violating these terms — including scraping, circumventing usage quotas, processing content you do not have the right to use, or abusive/automated traffic — may result in your access being suspended or permanently terminated, with or without prior notice, and without refund of any unused credits obtained through the violation.

No warranty

Transcripts are generated automatically and may contain errors. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind; we are not liable for losses arising from its use.
